WeetaBiX bought a new super-heated steam oven two weeks ago, and I got to try it first by making brownies. The results? It was yummilicious! :D
Seeing how successful it was, I made a second batch the following week. Lesson learnt - never alter the ingredients when making brownies. Trying to be health conscious (!) I reduced the sugar from 2 1/2 cups to 1 cup. Big mistake! The brownies came out like a sponge cake instead. WeetaBiX told me it's the sugar that gives it the chewy and fudgy texture. And, make sure the eggs are at room temperature.

This was the first batch which we tucked into soon after it came out from the over. Goes well with vanilla ice-cream.
Next, I'll be trying out the molten chocolate cake.
